Question "Everyone's Linux"(Elx) Optical Drives Not Working

I have installed Elx(Everyone's Linux). I have two Optical drives one is a samsung DVD-ROM and another is samsung DVD-ROM/CD-RW (combo). I am not that good at linux. When I try access the drives an error message shows up:

"Unable to enter file:/mnt/cdrom. You do not have access rights to this location."

When I looked at the properties of the drives i found them to be locked folders . How do I access them? The problem is the same with the floppy drive.
