Every time I print everyone looses their internet connection

I have set up a network printer that is on a SMB network on the KDE control panel. I can print anything out I want but everytime I print everyone else looses their internet connection! How can I fix this problem?

Maybe all that traffic going over your network to your printer is loading your network so much that there isn't much bandwidth left for internet traffic?

Does their net connection reappear when you have stopped printing?

How have you connected your network - with switches/routers, or a hub?

No, we have to reset the hub to get the internet working again. The 3 upstairs computers are connected by wireless card and the downstairs pc is connected by wire.
