ethO reads as failed, but Suse detects my network card

When booting, SUse reads that my eth0 has failed, but in the network card manager, it detects my card as a working dell supported card, how do i fix it?

The Failed part doesn't refer to it loading the driver properly, it refers to being unable to assign the settings you gave it. There could be a number of reasons for this. Usually its having the card set for dhcp and there being no dhcp server out there to give you a lease.

Cheers,
