and because of this I could not get IP with dhclient for eth0 on OpenSUSE 11.1. How do I solve this?

To be sure of my guess, you'd have to ls the device. eth0 is not proof that you are talking about the same nic.

From a rough guess it looks like you are using a realtek

oops! i already installed opensuse 11.4 and it detects my network interface, so consider this issue solved.
