As previously suggested, finding the correct modules is great. Next check to see which two kernels your two Distros are running. If they are the same kernel, you might be able to transfer the modules over to the distro you want in your Linux Box. Or do a kernel rebuild. This has the advantages of containing what you need and being trim and lean to save your speed. I recommend CDRW to transfer. Or direct cable from Linux Box A to Linux Box B. Or floppy drive floppies, if the modules are small files. Remember to check your BIOS before using LSPCI or LSUSB because you may have disabled some features/IRQ's that you may be inquiring about, or the hardware attached to it. Also, if any USB devices are being used, make sure they are plugged into the right ports for scanning. <2.0 vs. 1.0 USB ports show up differently>.
