ESATA hotplug

Hi all,

I have a Seagate 500G esata drive attached to the machine with Fedora 5 installed. The kernel is 2.6.20. The machine recognize the esata as /dev/sda1. When I disconnect the disk and reattached it. The machine cannot recognize it now. I need to reboot the machine and the machine recognize the esata again.

How to enable the hotplug for the esata disk for linux. Any help is appreciated
