Error On Unplugging USB Devices
I'm running Red Hat 9.0 with kernel version 2.4.20-8. I have no problem getting my USB devices working, but I get an error message whenever I unplug my USB hard drive. I'd like to be able to unplug it on the fly because I might want to transfer files between two computers.
Well, if I ever unplug the device I get this error:
#usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 3, frame# *
(it prints a number in place of the '*', but the number is always different)
The system hangs after that and I have to hit Ctrl+C to get back to the command line. I've already unmounted it before I try to remove it (I'm not stupid), so that's not the problem. I don't see any problems with performance or damage to the file system. It's just an annoying message. Is there a way I can get rid of this?
