error installing sierra wireless card driver Slackware 12.2

Hello.
I am trying to install the sierra wireless driver for the Aircard 880E as instructed here.
but get an error on make :

Quote:

make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.30.5/build: No such file or directory. Stop.

Slackware 12.2 2.6.30.5 kernel.

The build directory should be a symbolic link to the relevant kernel source tree. If it doesn't exist, you can create it with ln, e.g.

ln -s /usr/src/linux-2.6.30.5 /lib/modules/2.6.30.5/build,

assuming the source is in /usr/src/linux-2.6.30.5 of course. If you don't have modules for your 2.6.30.5 kernel, then I'm not sure, because perhaps /lib/modules/2.6.30.5 won't exist. In that case, you could try creating it and see if that works.
