Question Epson Stylus CX3200 Help???? Scanner Error message shown?

I just had a quick question. I recently got the Epson Stylus CX3200 printer/scanner and when I installed it the red error light came on. I have installed everything and the printer works but the scanner does not. All the message says is " Scanner Error......See your documentation and call service if necessary" I was curious if anyone knows what I can do to get rid of the problem, or of this has occurred to other people. Thanks
