epson scanner drivers -not sane

Hi, I am running suse 9.0 and I am looking for a particular driver for my epson 1660 PHOTO scanner. I do not think this driver has anything directly to do with sane or epson. I lost the tarball when I reformated and can not find it. I have no idea what it is called or what sit provided it. All I remember is it supported the slide scanning option on my scanner and when it was scanning a penguin lying face down on a scanner appeared in the window.

I realize this is a very vague description but does anyone know what i am talking about.
Does anyone know of a program that supports the slide scanning option for this scanner. Last time i checked sane did not.

If your scaner is usb type, just try with 'scanner' module. My Minolta Dimage Dual III works with that module without any specific driver.
