Enabling Hardware Acceleration Support for Intel 82865 Integrated VGA

Hello friendz,
I came to know from Intel's site that support for Built-in VGA of 865GBF board is included in Red Hat Linux 9. When I boot Linux, it does include support for the chipset but it is a partial kind of support i.e. it does not enable the hardware acceleration.
Can somone please tell me how to enable this support.
I know that this chipset supports hardware acceleration because i use it in the Windows environment.

Yup. I too face the same proble. As of today Intel82865 Graphics controller (Intel extreme grpahichs 2) seems to have only limited suport for hardware acceleration on linux. But I have worked on a 845 mother board (Intel Extreme Graphics ) and it seem to have decent Hardware acceleration. Since it is kind of a subset to the 865 I think there should be some way to get atleast 845 Graphics controller performance on the 865 Chipset.

Anybody out aware of how to achieve hardware acceleration on 865 chipset please post a reply...
