ecs l7vmm3 mb

hello all,
Please can someone help me. I have been looking to see if the ECS L7VMM3 motherboard is compatible with linux. it uses a Integrated S3 ProSavage8 video card and a VIAŽ VT1612A sound card built on the motherboard.
Thank you,
Dave

Just doing googling, it doesn't look like it. I don't think so (I sure wouldn't buy it).

Smile Yes it works

Just got the same board last week.

It works with Mandrake Community 10 ISO (Download 3 disk)
Default BIOS settings
Stock installation no card.
Just all the on board stuff.
Default OS installation. expect for the Monitor I've picked generic 1024x768@60Hz. Does not like the build in video/monitor combo I have.

Have not tested all the bits yet. But harddrake show the CPU as Athlon XP 2000+ and NOT the 3100 whatever....

Good Luck

KC
