DVD writer

What DVD writer is supported by Fedora Core 2?

most of them. i had my friend's computer up and running with FC2 and his DVD burner worked right out of the box.

but if you want a straight answer, check out the HCL on LQ. here's a link to the internal storage device section: a pretty good one it seems is this one:

you might want to browse through hcl a little more, but it seems LiteOn, Samsung, and Plextor all have DVD burners compatible with linux, and they should all work with FC2.

Mine is a Sony DRU-500AX DVD+/-RW -- the best.
