DVD Operation

Hi,

I have a samsund sd type drive and it has no problem with mounting cds and playing music but when I put in my Linux format DVD I get a wrong fs type etc message on the screen.

I am using a desktop shortcut and have edited it to say auto, default, isso9660, ext2, ext3, all I can think of and it still wont work.

I have been and looked into the kernel config and I think there is no problem here either.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Rob

dvd's use UDF format, but you may well have the wrong command there, which you've not told us about...

Thanks Chris..

I have not used a command to access them. I have tried mounting them automatically using the desktop shortcuts available as a wizard, customising the shortcuts using the fstype line in the shortcut using kwrite.

I will check the kernel has loaded udf support and I will see how I get on from there.
