Dual monitors (twinview) AND tvout with the same X-server?!

Hello,

I have a ASUS Ti4200 card in my rh9 system.
I have one XF86Config for my two monitors (twinview) and one
for using the tvout. The problem is that I have to change XF86Config
every time I want to watch a movie, i.e. log in as root, overwrite the XF86Config
and restart X, which also means killing all programs.

My question is:
Does anybody know how to configure a twinview system (two monitors)
and still be able to launch a movie on the TV?
(without killing X)

Would be very happy for answers!

i'd be pretty sure that that is not possible. a standard dual head geforce card can not output three different video signals. the tv / dvi output is switched between one or the other, hence you needing to change the config. i'm 95% sure that's the case, but i don't really keep up with hardware!

When I use my TV-XF86Config I get the same output on both monitors and the TV.
Anyway, my wish is to be able to switch over to the TV without restarting X. I doesn't matter if one or both of the monitors become inactive, as long as they wake up again after the movie!
