Dual core processor

Can somebody tell me, slackware 10.1 supports P4 dual core processors?

Linux support multiple processors, so yes this includes dual core processors. I suggest AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+. The price is just about the same, but AMD processors consumes less power and provides better performance.
