DOES ANYONE HAVE A PROGRAM TO MAKE ALL THE FUNCTIONS OF THE HP OFFICEJET 5110V WORK WITH REDHAT LINUX 9? I JUST CONVERTED TO REDHAT FROM WINDOWS XP PRO AND HP SEEMS TO LACK SUPPORT OF LINUX OS! HOW PRIMITIVE THAT IS !!
This is a link to a page on the LinuxPrinting page.
This is my search on Google's Linux Pages. The search was for the 5110, but the drivers should work with your printer. Google Linux is a very good place to start any of your searches.
And please, could you refrain from using all capitals in your posts. It is very hard to read and is seen as shouting. This is a link to a page on Netiquette.
Your So sweet to help others it is a nice thing to do.
As for your comments about all caps.....woops.....PLEASE GET OVER IT I FIGURE SINCE YOUR HEAD IS SO FAR UP YOUR ASS YOU MAY HAVE TROUBLE HEARING ME SO THANKS FOR TELLING ME HOW TO YELL ON HERE, I WILL IGNORE YOUR REPLY AND WAIT FOR A NICER PERSON TO REPLY AND I YELL BECAUSE I HAVE HEARING TROUBLE AND THE LIGHTS ARE DOWN LOW. Ok I am done yelling now and hope all will forgive me for loosing my temper and using caps lock on here but some people are just so anal you couldn't drive a sixteen penny nail up there ass with a sledge hammer, I also may add i hate to be corrected by smart asses, I don't play well with others and the only information i asked for was the only information i was seeking from you or anybody else. Your opinion of caps doesnt mean didly-squat to Me. So sir get over it and yourself.
So what you are saying, is that when you ask strangers for help, we should just accept that you are rude and live with it?
You have serious delusions (as shown by the capital M in me in your final line).
You asked for help, I gave it. I also suggested you stop writing in capitals as that is seen as shouting and is rude, something especially looked down on forums such as this. You then respond with a torrent of abuse.
You seem to have used this thread in 2 ways - to ask for help and to be FlameBoy (tm). Very economical - well done.
Please do not post such comments as above again, it is against the rules to be quite that aggresively incendiary. Xavier's comment about all caps was meant to be a suggestion, not an attack. This is a very flame war free forum.
