driver printer Epson TM-U220

hi..
i have problem while installing epson printer TM-U220 in ubuntu 11.10. the output of printing contain unknown characters, not a letter.. i have tried to find another driver in epson offical website, but only for ubuntu 9.10 and another TM series, is there way to find download epson printer's driver for ubuntu 11.10?

This looks like the driver you need https://download.epson-biz.com/modul...scat=32&pid=42
from the Epson Business site.
Since it is dated 19/01/2011 it should be OK.

i've install it to my ubuntu, then choosed driver for 9pin dotmatric's printer (after trying many types of printer), then it worked,

Hi

How do I get the TMU220 epson printer installed on USB interface. I have on my dmesg message 'usb 3-2: new full speed USB device number 3 using uhci_hcd' recognized.

Could I print directly to the USB? and how?
