Question Does ASUS RAMPAGE FORMULA (LGA 775 Intel X48) Motherboard Run Linux Well?

This time I decided to do it right: Instead of buying a motherboard based on performance/price and then finding out how to make it work with Linux, I am checking first whether a motherboard is known in the Linux community. :-)

The following is one of my candidates:

ASUS RAMPAGE FORMULA LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard

I couldn't find it in this forum's HCL.

Do you have any experience with this motherboard?

If so, how would you rate it in terms of Linux compatibility?

I intend to run Ubuntu 8.04 on it.
