dodgy graphics after update

Hi,

I've just installed Red Hat for the 1st time ever, it's all gone very well the graphics adapter was seen as an S3 virge (generic) I've logged on & run the update program, now when I reboot into the new version (2.4.20-31.9) or the original (2.3.20-8) the log-on screen is shown in only a few color's & though i can log-on I cannot see well enough to find the video adapters settings menu to change it.

Is there anyway i can fix this or do I need to reinstall Red Hat again?

Kind Regards

Steve

there is a config tool you can use from the command prompt to change the video settings. not sure what the command is though.
