Do Wacom pen tablets work in linux?


Do Wacom pen tablets work on linux machines? I'm planning to buy one for using it with the GIMP, but I'm unsure if such features as pressure sensitivity etc. work in linux?

(I was just googling and found a confirmation that they do work, is that true?)

I see support for Intuos/Graphire tablet support in my kernel.
