Disappearing Bcm43xx Wireless integrated card

A few days ago my wireless went out in both Linux (Sabayon) and in Vista. Vista claimed that there was no wireless card in the device listing and the lspci -m has changed as well (card isn't listed) it was as follows

I'm utterly confused because i can't do anything with a device that doesn't exsist. The oddest thing that has happened is that once (for no apparent reason) when booting the computer /w usb wireless adapter plugged in the brodcom card started. It has sense disappeard again.
If anyone has any ideas i'd appreciate it.

Compaq V3000 running Sabayon Linux (gentoo)
