Disable Hardware Flow Control at serial port
Hi!
I'm trying to connect a modem to my ttyS0, I'd like to establish a dialin server with mgetty. Unfortunately it seems that i can only connect to the modem, when hardware & software flow control are disabled.
Connecting works fine with minicom, when flow control is disabled, I can send AT commands and so on. But not with mgetty. I didn't find an option for disabling flow control. That's what the mgetty logfile says:
11/26 14:55:00 yS0 locking the line
11/26 14:55:00 yS0 makelock(ttyS0) called
11/26 14:55:00 yS0 do_makelock: lock='/var/lock/LCK..ttyS0'

11/26 14:55:01 yS0 got:
11/26 14:55:21 yS0 timeout in chat script, waiting for `OK'
11/26 14:55:21 yS0 init chat timed out, trying force-init-chat
This modem only works with 19200kbit, 8n1 and flow control disabled. Any idea how to change these settings? I've tried using setserial, but i couldn't figure out how to change flowcontrol etc., the same with stty. I called stty like this:
stty -F /dev/ttyS0 -xon -crtscts
but when calling just stty -F /dev/ttyS0 it returns this:
speed 19200 baud; line = 0;
min = 1; time = 0;
-brkint -icrnl -imaxbel
-opost -onlcr
-isig -icanon -iexten -echo -echoe -echok -echoctl -echoke
any help would be kindly appreciated :-))
