Dell Precision 360 - Powers up, sometimes. - Not Ram or PCI Cards -
Okay so I have a Dell Precision 360 that I run as a MythTV/FileServer.
The other morning when I woke up I found that I couldn't connect to it, when I went to investigate, the machine was off, and would not power on, the power button was flashing yellow. I unplugged it, and went to work.
That night I plugged it back in and found that it powered up once and beeped, I turned it back off and rebooted, it stayed on.
-After about ten minutes it had turned off again, I unplugged it to diagnose later.
Today i plugged it back in (connected a monitor today), booted it up and saw a message after the BIOS Alert! Previous Voltage Failure, i pushed F1 and continued to boot. After abut five minutes the machine powered off again. I could no longer boot. I left it unplugged for a few minutes and could boot again.
I was thinking, this is probably bad memory; I went ahead and removed all of the memory and PCI cards from the computer, and began adding one at a time, the computer power button never went green. Now, if I give it a break it will boot but it dies after a few minutes and this repeats.
What is the problem, faulty PS?, mobo?
Anny suggestions would be great, I just don't want to order the wrong part.
