Dell powredege 4400 raid
 

Hi,

I am about to install a new server on poweredge 440 machine. I got 2 large scsi 145 G and couple of small scsi disk 37G each. I plan to use 2large+2small (2 containers--> mirror +stripe)

Now my question is whether I should use all slots (8 of them) or just use what ever i need for now and add the rest of disks onto slots later (ie. build additional container later on) ? If i did that , how do i ensure linux able to mount that container's partition(s) (if its doable at all)
