Red Hat, or any linux is not like windows. Any distribution can be a server. If these servers are an important link in some chain or online, I would recommend you get hold of someone who knows what they are doing. There are a host of things that matter - partition sizes, logging levels, security, program versions, access, hard drive formats, backup, etc. Niobody writes instructions, because nobody except you knows your application.
Typically the base programs are installed along with a number of scripts specially written for the installation to automate tasks.
