Dell Inspiron 9200 Volume, Play, Mute Quick Buttons and Sound with Suse 9.3

I have a Dell Inspiron 9200 with Suse linux 9.3. I have external buttons that I can use when the laptop is closed to change songs, or to play a movie without using my mouse. How do I activate these using linux. Has anyone done this before on this machine?

lineak

with that you can use the multimedia buttons, use the 9100 keyboard profile, should work fine, i have used it on 9300 and 6000 (running fedora core3).
