Exclamation Dell Inspiron 1100 Modem Trouble

I have a Dell Inspiron 1100 computer and I am running Fedora Core 2. My Broadcom 56K V90 modem is not working. Though, it's not nessesary for my to have my modem working right this moment, since I will be receiving DirecWay. But, when I'm going to someone elses house, I would want to get online... Can you help me?
