Deleting Partion with Gparted Help

okay before i was clueless but Gparted isn't allowing me to delete the partition of vista note: there is a hidden partition that i do not want to delete. but here is the sudo

*****@ubuntu:~$ sudo fdisk -l

Disk /dev/sda: 500.1 GB, 500107862016 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 60801 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x16481a21

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 59722 479709152+ 7 HPFS/NTFS
/dev/sda2 59722 60801 8674304 12 Compaq diagnostics

Also Ubuntu has 30gb of space and i would like to increase that to all of what vista has and keep the secret partition incase i ever want vista back or something bad happens to my system

I believe that the software of this companies like western digital or hitachi is locked in the firmware so you aren't able to delete this even with GParted of Window$ Certified $oftware! As i see the hidden partition has Compaq diagnostic tools when you have a virus eg. and you want to prevent format

I don't think so IF this is from firmware only the manufucture can do something. Because my laptop is not a brand i don't know if there is a solution to this because i didn't have this problem . If anyone else can help you. But i know that the applications that are on the external drives are locked in the firmaware by the manufacturer so this looks like this
