Question Debian Sarge - SSE(1.2.3) MMX, support/emulation

Hey Everyone.
Here is another problem that i'm having with my LInux Debian Sarge 3.1.
I was trying to install a Counter-Strike Game server on my
Dual pII 233mhz with 256ram.
after the installation was compelte, i could not start the server, due to some sort of INSTRUCTION ERROR.
i looked it up on forums and i found out that this could happen because my CPU doesnt support SSE. Well, a little more research showed me that there is a way to get an emulation of sse, using BACHS software/tool. I got that one, but could not figure out how to make it work since i'm not using X or anything related to it.
Based on your knowledge of LINUX, could someone help me to enable SSE???
here is my :cat /proc/cpuinfo:
-----------------------------
Linux-server:~# cat /proc/cpuinfo
processor : 0
vendor_id : GenuineIntel
cpu family : 6
model : 3
model name : Pentium II (Klamath)

-----------------------------------
i also read something where they talked about KERNEL that does not support SSE,
here is UNAME:
---------------
Linux-server:~# uname -a
Linux Linux-server 2.6.8-2-686 #1 Tue Aug 16 13:22:48 UTC 2005 i686 GNU/Linux

Thanx for looking/helping,
Stas
