Hello,

i found no issue to my problem for now...

when i want to read a dvd, or just copy files from the dvd to the hard disk, this is incredibly slow and cpu is working at 100%.

i have a 2.4.27 kernel and my dvd rom is a recent NEC. it was working fine few days ago under slackware and since i installed debian it is not okay lol

cheers for any help
