Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Debian Lenny Bluetooth

Can anyone talk me through how to pair my SE K800i with Debian Lenny?

The computer does have Bluetooth - works perfectly on Windows.

It used to work perfectly on Debian Etch under KDE. But I removed KDE, installed Gnome, then upgraded to Lenny, and now I just can't figure it out.

I'm able to send a file from the computer to the phone by using

Code:
$: gnome-obex-send filename
and

Code:
$: hcitool scan
shows the phone as a bluetooth device

However, I will only ever want to send files the other way i.e. from the phone to the computer, and when I try to add a new device or initiate file sending from the phone, it just says No Bluetooth Devices Found.
