Dead Hard Drive?

i boot, the company logo you know loads then i have linux so it boots from floppy, i hit enter to boot and it loads files from the disc then when it goes to the hdd to get information it just stops

if i put in a windows 98cd it loads up to where it says "Boot from hard drive" "boot from cd" boot from cd it just changes to a black screen

boot from harddrive does the same

did my hdd die?

Can your BIOS detect the hard drive (i.e. does it list it at boot up after POST?)

yes it reconizes it, maybe some of the new fans and neons i put in my pc case or takin to much power and not enough is gettin to the hdd?

lol, sean i don't really know the answer to your Q, but I really like the neon strip u showed me today.
The fan looks bulky though... doosh
