Customizing Suspend Wake Up commands

When I set my computer to suspend to RAM. Only the lid wakes it up. Is there a way to customize it, so the power button can only wake it up and not the lid? I read through kernel documentation, but it does not have a way to customize what wakes the computer up from these power saving modes. It seems to me that it is default to what ever computer brand have set at the factory that wakes up the computer. Unfortunately Dell does not give me any options for wake up.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Does the latest kernel includes these options that my present kernel version, 2.6.22, does not have?

My computer is a Dell Inspiron 1520 (notebook).
