custom X resolution?

Hi,

I am running vmware and my laptop monitor size is 1280x800.
800x600 is too small, and 1024x768 it a bit too big.
I would like to try run a resolution of about 1100x700.
Possible?

Thanks

Only if your video card supports it.

Sorry, yes.
You can use any special vga mode that is supported by the VMware Tools on the guest OS.
