CUPS problem

Hi all,

I'm having trouble installing a Samsung ML1440 on my Libranet 2.8 system.

I can get as far as the 'add printer' dialog in the CUPS html setup (localhost:631), and am presented with three textboxes: Name, Location, and Description. Below these is a 'continue' button.

No matter what I enter in the 3 boxes, when I hit the continue button I get a message - 'connection closed by remote server'.

Is anyone familiar with this problem or an alternate method of installing a printer? I've tried turboprint but it doesn't support Samsung.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'd hate to have to give up on linux simply because of a printer issue.
