I've got a cheapo Creative AudioPCI 128 soundcard with ALSA es1371 driver - everything works well, even soundserver-less software mixing with dmix. But when I try to play some MIDI files or virtual piano I can't hear anything. I get no error, on the screen everything looks well, but - no sound. All controls have been unmuted with alsamixer (except IEC958 SPDIF output, which doesn't exist at all
). What's wrong?
