Creative Wireless mouse in Mepis
 
Hi,
I have a problem with Creative Wireless Optical mouse. In configuration it seems that everything is ok, but pointer don't move :(. I'm using Mepis Linux, but this mouse didn't worked on any distro. Please, help me because i have to use NumPad to move the pointer!

Is it connected usb or ps/2?

Open a terminal window and do
Code:
cat /dev/input/mice
This should get you jibberish when you move the mouse. If not, your kernel needed to be fixed.
To see what needs fixed in the kernel, look in /proc/bus/usb/devices.
