Hey...

I got a Creative Webcam NX (Model #: PD1110) for christmas and I want to make the lil guy work in linux but I have a bit of a problem. I have no idea how to do that I've been running slackware 9.1 for about 2 months now and I really like it, the flexibility and customization you can do to your system is great but I have no idea how I would even go about starting to install this webcam. I found lots of docs about Logitech webcams but none on mine. All of the video4linux stuff is compiled in as modules and I'm running the 2.4.22 kernel (although I want to set up the 2.6 one soon)

Anyway..

How do I go about setting this webcam up? is there any documentation availalbe? any drivers? any anything?

Oh, one more thing..

I thought maybe I'd install gnomemeeting and see if by some miracle it just worked (I wish) and I get an error saying I needed the Openh323 libraries so I got those and it told me that the PWLib libraries were required so I got thoes and alas I got an error while trying to 'make' them....

I'm considering trying suse because I've heard it's very good at hardware detection and configuration and since this is a home computer (and not a server) the proper functioning of all my hardware is more important then extreme system optimization...
