Is that an ISA card? Try installing sndconfig and run that to configure it.

msconfig is a Microsoft program for Windows 98, not Linux. No wonder it won't work;

If you try sndconfig and get this:
Code:
bash: sndconfig: command not found
That means that it isn't installed yet.

sndconfig isn't installed by default, so before you can use it, you must install it. Have you done so?

rpmfind

Find it either at Red Hat's download site or rpmfind.

Download and install it.

Hi Born^Dead,

Did you use rpm -Uvh sndconfig-0.70-2.i386.rpm to install it?

Also, were you the root user when you did that? The root user is like the administrator in windows systems.

Hope this helps.
