Unless it is
kjournald. Fedora (or Red Hat or CentOS) have the property to eat CPUs and give frequent jerks during working. On my office machine, which I am using from last 9 months it does so by running kjournald all the time but on my home machine running Arch Linux, I don't have any problem with kjournald.
Earlier I used Fedora, where I don't have any troubles with kjournald but it still ate my CPU all the time. Guess what, I stopped using RPM based distros.
