Cortron Keyboad on Linux System

Anyone every heard of a "Cortron" keyboard? It has a few additional keys like F13, F14, ... F22, as well as "Clear" and "Param Value".

There's a post below on how to get the slide button on a mouse to work. So, I was wondering if anyone know how to get those addition buttons on the Cortron keyboard to work, 'cause right now there's no reponse when I use xev or showkey.

In general, if pushing a button does not generate any response on xev or showkey, what would I have to change so that it does?

Thanks

I don't know about this keyboard specifically, but you want to look into the console commands: loadkeys, keymaps, and dumpkeys. If you can't find a specific one for this keyboard, you can sort of build your own keymap as you go.

kbd makes things so much easier, especially if you're a dvorak user.

Cheers,
