Control case lighting from linux

Is it doable? I have some UV lamps inside my case with a rocker switch (also inside the case) to turn them on and off with.

It would be *incredibly* cool if I had a button on my desktop (or even a cmd-line thing) that did this for me without having to open up my case.

Does anyone know how I might achieve this?

Cheers

I assume you mean cold cathode fluorescent instead of "UV"

The easiest method would be to use the parallel or serial port and an build an interface adapter circuit. If your not handy with electronics you can always purchase instead of build. You can find lots of info by googling.

OK, you got me - but it gives off UV light, and you knew what I meant!

Thanks for the links!
