Configure HP 1005 to Fedora 17

Hi, I can get my printer to respond with Mint 13, but can someone help me with suitable terminal commands to get the HP talking to Fedora? Thanks. I did have a search but could find nothing.

See this link.

-->https://www.openprinting.org/printer...-LaserJet_1005

Note, once you have the correct driver loaded, you have to upload the firmware to the printer.

I don't have this printer, so this is all the help I can give.

Hope this helps.

OK

I understand. I have now Fedora 19 installed and would like to know the terminal commands to get my printer to talk to F19.Connecting the usb produces a nil response (unlike "Mint" which saw it straight away. Any ideas as to what to type??
Thanks...John
