irena56 LQ Newbie Registered: Oct 2004 Posts: 24 Rep:	conexant modem Dear members, Recently I successfully installed and configured a Connexant modem driver on my laptop (Vaio PCG 501FX, RedHat9). When I try to activate my modem, my laptop 'freezes'. Once I managed to activate it successfully and was amazed how fast my internet connection was (and it is not broadband!). Since that time I could not activate my modem. It does not give any error messages, it simply freezes. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
