compiling device driver's source code


I m using RedHat EL 2.6 kernel and i dont have kernel source code. the ethernet card is of realtech.i looked through the readme.txt came with the device it just cave me the steps to install "driver.o" file and told to compile the "driver.c" file to "driver.o". I searched for kernel source code of "2.6" in the internet. if u know where can i get the source code for RHEL-2.6 kernel.And tell me the way to compile "driver.c" to "driver.o"
