Compaq Armada 1750 help


I have recently installed ubuntu 6.06 on one of my old laptops, it has a tv out port, and i am trying to configure it so that i can view the desktop on my tv, + when i go on trips so the kids can watch a movie on the two screens on the backs of the seats. Can someone help me

You should start with polling your hardware.
I would assume that we would need to know what video chipset you have and whether or not you have the proper X drivers installed.
As far as I know configuring the use TV-out would be a manufacturer specific thing.
