compaq 1245 mandrake 6.1
okay I have an old laptop and an old copy of mandrake everything works fine except the screen is all cluttered looking. I know that I probably need to use the framebuffer driver but I don't know how to refer the framebuffer device in XF86config to a valid entry. Its running a 2.2 linux kernel and a neomagic 128 video board. I've tried putting fbdev vesafb in XF86Config but the display just locks. I don't know if there is a driver I'm missing thats installed already on the system or if I need to install another one, I'm clueless as to what to do, so any help would be appreciated.
