All of the printer manufacturers sell the printers cheaply and then charge too much for the ink refills. Check the prices on the ink refills for any printer that you are considering. Individual color refills are better than a single color refill because you do not run out of all three colors simultaneously. The printer with the cheapest ink refills is the cheapest printer, not the printer with the lowest price.
Usually HP printers are the most expensive on the market.
