Collective reproduction

Hi folks,

What will be an easy solution to reproduce 25+ pendrives?

I have a pendrive with 2 partitions of unequal sizes, partition-l running Linux OS on FAT16 and partition-2 for storage on ext2. The pendrive is on ZIP geometry.

I have a FC3 box with 6 USB ports. Is there a one-step solution instead of going through;

1. format the pendrives on ZIP geometry one by one
2. partitioning the pendrives one by one
3. format the pendrives on FAT16/ext2 one by one
3. clone the pendrives one by one

and doing all of them collectively. Any suggestion?

TIA

B.R.

Use dd.

<dd if=/dev/sourcedrive of=/dev/targetdrive bs=4k conv=noerror>

I think you can run more than one instance of dd at a time by using multiple terminal windows.
